become your pain-free self again

Physiotherapy

At One Physiotherapy we focus on injury rehab. This includes all types of injuries, niggling pains, chronic pain and post-operative rehab. We know how frustrating it can be to be limited by injury and pain, that is why we are passionate about evidence-based treatments, so you aren’t wasting your time doing things that don’t work.

We also have systems in place to support you between appointments, as we know fitting rehab into your busy life can be tricky. Through our 5-step process your Physio will take you through an assessment to diagnose your injury, perform a hands on treatment, set you up with an online rehab program, and be available to be contacted for questions between your appointments.  Our approach will get on you on the right track, so you can perform in the gym, spend quality time with your family, and minimise your chances of getting injured again.

Remedial massage

Our Remedial massage therapy encompasses sports massage, trigger point therapy, passive and active release techniques, and more relaxing methods like Swedish massage. Remedial massage helps decrease muscle sensitivity (pain) and increase muscle compliance (mobility) by applying pressure to muscles through the above techniques.

While our therapists can perform a whole-body massage, they will also focus on areas that are contributing to your symptoms. Our remedial massage therapists are certified with a Diploma in Remedial Massage, making them recognised by health fund providers for on-the-spot claims.

They also work closely with our physiotherapists, so if you are seeing one of our Physio’s they will let your massage therapist know what to focus on.

our five step process

your injury rehab experts

  • Have a one on one assessment where your injury will be diagnosed and questions answered. All sessions are one on one, with 1 hour initial appointments, and 30 mins follow up consultations as needed. Some other physiotherapists have short consults, or you may see a different Physio each time, however we don’t do that.

  • Your Physio may use remedial massage, joint mobilisations and dry needling to help assist with pain and get people moving more freely.

  • All patients get a tailored video program, we try to keep it at 10 mins per day to help make it achievable.

  • We call all patients the day after their initial consultation to see how they are doing.

  • You can contact your Physio at any time by responding to the email they sent you with your exercise program. Your Physio will promptly get back to you.
